4. According to TIMS & ACAP
ACAP means the Annapurna Conservation Area which includes a major portion of the trek. ACAP permits are required for you to get entry to the Annapurna Conservation Area.
And TIMS stands for the Trekkers Information Management System. TIMS permit is necessary to trek on major trekking trails within Nepal, including Annapurna Circuit.
If you are planning to trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp, you must obtain Annapurna Circuit Trekking Permits that consist of TIMS & ACAP permits.
