Shivapuri National Park:
Shivapuri National Park is the nearest national park to the Kathmandu Valley. It admires us from the beautiful Himalayas, wonderful natures. You can also see the beautiful waterfalls there. Hiking to Shivapuri National Park is easy and short adventurous near the Kathmandu Valley. Inside the Shivapuri National Park, you can see the Hindu religious places “Bishnudwar” and “Baagdwar”. Also, you can see the Gumba called “Nagi Ghumba” which is famous for Buddhist. It takes 3-4 hours from Budhanilkantha temple to visit Shivapuri National Park.
Nagarkot:
Nagarkot is exactly located 32km east of Kathmandu, Nepal. This place is also famous for Hiking. You can go on a hike with your friends for refreshments. Also, you can spend your beautiful time by viewing the natural view from the height of Nagarkot Tower. This place lies on top of the Kathmandu Valley.
Sundarijal:
Sundarijal is the famous part of Golarnashwor Municipality in the Kathmandu district. This place is assessable and perfect for hiking. It takes 5-6 hours time for hiking to reach the sundarijal. You can also do canyoning and swimming in the sundarijal waterfall.
Kakani:
Kakan is the perfect place for the hike which is close to the Kathmandu Valley. The route for Kakani is very easy and complete in 2-3 hours. Kakani is one of the famous viewpoints of Kathmandu Valley. It lies in the northeast part of Kathmandu valley. You can enjoy your spare time there.
Phulchowki:
Phulchowki is one of the highest points in the Kathmandu Valley. It lies in the southeast part of the Kathmandu Valley. It is also called “hills of flower”. The starting point of the hike is from the bus stop of Godawari. It takes 4-5 hours for the hike. Also, you can see Gaurishankar Himal, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang Himal from Phulchwoki Hill if the weather is clean.
